Year 8 Maths - homework help
I'm going to trial with you lot (Year 8 Maths) using edmodo to inform you of deadlines, get you asking questions, and generally helping each other out.
If you want to take part, ask me for my code and an instruction sheet.
Pirates at the Movies
How real are the pirates in films? What myths are portrayed? Do they use the right weapons? Do they have the right boats? Are their attitudes to treasure and fellow pirates correct?
Here are some suggested films, but you might find a different one! One problem - we have already looked at Pirates of the Caribbean so no using that one!

You might have noticed I've had the decorators in the give the website a lick of paint and fix some bits and bobs. I am very proud to say the class objectives now work as they should, and the counter at the bottom should reflect whats going on.

Alongside all the usual UK channels (yes you can watch Eastenders!) you'll find France 24 - give it a watch and try and work out the main points of the news and weather reports. There is even a version in English so you can start watching in English to get the idea of the topic, then switch to French.
